Mr. Hong has been the President of Strategic Property Associates since he formed it in 1993. He has served in senior management positions for Pacific First Bank, Pacific Life, and First Nationwide Bank, in real estate investment, asset management, and lending functions as director, division, and department manager. Mr. Hong has lectured on the subject of real estate investment, lending, and economics at the University of California at Irvine, National University, Webster University, and Pacific States University. Mr. Hong has also served as a Real Estate Receiver for defaulted loan properties, appointed by the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles. Mr. Hong has a B.S. degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Evans has been a key equity owner and manager of the company responsible with business development since 1997.  He is responsible for providing services to clients in due diligence, new loan boarding and set-up, reserve disbursement tracking and analysis, technology development and management.  Mr. Evans served in management positions for sales and distribution companies, with a particular emphasis on business development, financial management / accounting, customer relations / service, and training.  Mr. Evans majored in Business Management at California State University at Fullerton.

Ms. Chocco joined Strategic Property Associates in 1998 and has significantly contributed to the development and growth of SPA’s inspection business, SAS, since its inception. Over this timeframe, she has personally inspected thousands of properties. She is responsible for managing overall operations, the staff and a national team of inspectors, as well as marketing and client relations. Ms. Chocco’s background in operations management extends over 35 years with CF Braun Engineering, IBM, Westworld Community Healthcare, and Westec Security. She has a B.A. degree in English from California State University, Los Angeles.
